We used this yard stick (actually it’s 2 yards) to measure my daughter’s height from 1 week to 18 years old. I like to photograph important objects in case they are lost. This was a bit of a challenge, given the dimensions. I took 8 photos and then combined them in Gimp, using layer masks and gradients to blend them together, and some brightness/contrast adjustment for consistency.
